The project is located in the heart of the new financial district of Milan, near Garibaldi train station and piazza Gae Aulenti.
As such it sits at the intersection of the older, traditional Milan and the new “glass and steel” district that has transformed the city.
Our design tries to capture this unique context as well as acknowledging the prominent corner the building stands on.

OUR AWARDS
We are pleased to evidence that our group has been awarded several important prizes and publications. These include numerous AIA honor and merit awards, and a ULI (Urban Land Institute) first prize for our Perseo district office building which also won an additional prize for being the most sustainable office building in Lombardia at the time. Three of our projects are listed with the Milan Urban Centre’s survey of architecturally significant buildings in Milan.
GaS has always encouraged a sustainable approach to architecture as evidenced by the numerous LEED Platinum and Gold projects on both continents, for both core & shell and interior projects. We have also worked with the BREEAM system and have one of the first LEED gold interior project in Italy, the Autodesk headquarters.
