The project is located in the heart of the new financial district of Milan, near Garibaldi train station and piazza Gae Aulenti.
As such it sits at the intersection of the older, traditional Milan and the new “glass and steel” district that has transformed the city.
Our design tries to capture this unique context as well as acknowledging the prominent corner the building stands on.
CASA DI LANGA
Many international architectural awards acknowledge the project of the new Italian luxury resort Casa di Langa.
The new eco-luxury resort designed by GaS Studio with Parisotto+Formenton Architetti has been recently selected for several prestigious architectural prizes. These awards acknowledge the high quality of design and “life experiences”, together with attention to sustainability and respect for the local territory.
NEWH TOP ID AWARD 2021
NEWH, the international professional network dedicated to the hospitality industry, assigned the Top Interior Design Award to Casa di Langa at the end of 2021, celebrating the high quality of architectural and interior design that characterizes a resort deeply linked to its surrounding territory yet offering extremely contemporary atmospheres and experiences.
BIGSEE ARCHITECTURE AWARD
Casa di Langa has been awarded the BigSEE Architecture Award 2022 in the category Public and Commercial Architecture. BigSEE is a platform born to promote discussion and development of the cultural, economic, and political role of Southeast Europe as a top creative region. By receiving this award, Casa di Langa is in the running for the BigSEE Grand Prix Award that is going to be assigned in May 2022 in Ljubljana.
ARCHITECT HONOR AWARD
The project of the country resort, located in the Unesco Heritage site of the Langhe, has received the ARCHITECT HONOR AWARD 2022 assigned by Architect magazine, the official journal of the American Institute of Architects, that represents one of the most prestigious acknowledgements in the field of international architecture.
ARCHILOVERS MOST LOVED PROJECTS 2021
Casa di Langa is also proudly part of the most loved projects published in 2021 on Archilovers. The platform selects every year the most viewed and preferred projects from all around the world by the international community of architecture lovers.
MIPIM AWARDS 2022
Mipim has received 171 entries from 42 countries around the world. After a review of the entries, 3-5 finalists were selected for each category. The project won the MIPIM Awards for "Best Hotel & Tourism Resort." Coming in among 46 finalists, along with five other Italian projects, Casa di Langa won first place at the MIPIM Awards with a design by Gas Studio and P+F Architetti, developed by Krause Group with Project & Cost Management coordination by Arcadis Italia and construction work by Malabaila&Arduino.

LIV HOSPITALITY DESIGN AWARD 2022
The mission of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards is to celebrate the quality and diversity of the architectural ventures and interior design projects shaping the worldwide hospitality industry today. The program was launched in 2020 and is an inclusive platform, pursuing and rewarding exceptional projects within LIVING and EATING spaces. This special title is awarded to projects which are rated by our expert jury panel at 80 points or higher, out of a maximum 100. These entries are the Jury’s favorites Architecture & Interior Design.
